Kristen Bell on Living with Depression and Anxiety | Body Stories | SELF

  1. I honestly can’t stand being by myself. I have many friends but I get decision paralysis thinking if I should hang out with them or if they think I’m too boring, depressed or affectionate. Or not funny enough. Or haven’t said enough nice things.

  2. Watching this made me cry and realize how much I'm struggling with my anxiety and depression. I feel hopeless and such a failure at life

  3. I wish my family would check in with me.. I have reached out to them and they don't know how to "deal" with me. It's not a great feeling at all.

  4. — Scientist K.E Anaekwe – Depression / Suicidal thoughts can be fought back using MOTION THERAPY. It is seasonal – to fight it – simply spend 3 nights every week sleeping head pointing west, 4 nights head pointing north (well bonded to mother-earth) – especially during the month of March – August.

  5. Hi
I am here🙋‍♀️ experiencing same thing, trying to make sense out of it. It is hard to share it with people that have not experienced it, but please know that if you are experiencing it, I understand you perfectly.
I am working with my body since anxiety has somatic sensations in my case already. Yoga, boxing, running, anything that helps you move and release the tension. Therapy and prayer, resilience and faith. Many blessings and please know that you are not alone.

  6. Wow. Kristen is 1000 times more genuine than 99% of Hollywood. She is very unselfish to make herself vulnerable in order to help others. RESPECT !

  7. She described exactly how I feel too often. There also isn't enough support for people struggling or that may not even know what they are going through. Thanks for being interviewed and sharing Kristen.

  8. Gosh you are amazing. I wish you were my friend. ha ha I know that sounds dorky, but you are an amazing human. 🙂 Thank you!

  9. Very nice video. My suggestion for healing. . Reduce negative thoughts with a simple practice. Your breath is directly related to your mind [brain] causing negative thoughts-anxiety. For a healthier life sit on a chair, back straight, eyes closed and observe the sensations of your incoming–outgoing breath at the entrance of the nostrils for around 5-10-15 minutes or more. Don’t fight your thoughts. Slowly the mind will relax. No deep breathing needed. Day or night, when taking a walk, when reading, when on the phone, before sleep etc sit or lie down and observe your breath. Like me, make this a lifetime daily habit to have a good life. Avoid constipation as it affects the mind instantly. Best wishes Shyaaam Sir. –Counsellor.

  10. Jesus is the cure, if someone is depressed or anxious, Jesus will heal you, call out to him. But you need to be commited with Jesus so he can heal you, how can other people say that they pray and nothing happen, do they even call to God and follow God's commandments? or do they only call him when they need him?. If you don't follow you're parents and curse them, and one day you tried to beg for money, will they still give you? of course not, but if you love you're parents and follow all their commands, they will give you everything that you need, before you even say it.

  11. this is the most relatable thing i almost cried. i have been feeling the exact way and the dots are connecting. Kristen Bell wow this i didnt expect her to say this.
